The fine print, minus the boring

How it works

Everything you need to know before you bid. Short, honest, and exactly how we run things — so the only surprise is how good the plant looks in person.

How do I place a bid?+

Name, email, your bid, pick a shipping option — done. No account, no app, no twelve-step registration.

Your first bid ever needs one click: we email you a confirmation link, and the bid counts the moment you click it. After that, every bid from your device counts instantly.

Why do I have to confirm my first bid?+

Because fake bids are not cute. The one-click confirmation proves there's a real collector behind every bid, which protects the people bidding seriously — including you.

What happens in the final minutes?+

Any bid placed in the last 5 minutes extends the auction by 5 minutes. No sniping here — the plant goes to whoever wants it most, not whoever clicks last. Watch the countdown; it tells the truth.

What if someone outbids me?+

You get an email the moment it happens, with the new amount and a one-tap way back into the fight. Whether you take the bait is between you and your plant budget.

What does my bid actually cost?+

Your bid is the final plant price — VAT included, no surprises at checkout. The only thing added is the shipping option you picked when bidding.

How do I pay if I win?+

You'll receive a PayPal invoice by email shortly after the auction ends — plant + your chosen shipping, VAT specified. PayPal buyer protection included.

No PayPal account? No problem — the invoice takes card payments as a guest. Note: auction payments don't go through the shop checkout, so no Klarna here.

Payment within 48 hours, or the plant moves on to the next bidder. We don't chase, we re-home.

How does shipping work?+

You choose your shipping option when you bid — Sweden via PostNord, EU standard or EU express. Everything ships from Sweden with the plant's safety first: if the weather wants to cook or freeze your rare plant in a box, we wait. You'll always know.

Already have an unshipped order in the shop? Pick the combine shipping option (€0) and we pack everything together — we verify against your order, so only pick it if it's true.

Are the photos the actual plant?+

Yes — what you see is what you get, unless the listing clearly says otherwise. Roots, variegation, flaws: documented in the condition notes on every auction.

One honest reminder: this is a living plant, not a plastic trophy. Minor cosmetic changes between photo day and shipping day can happen — that's the deal with living things.

What counts as a fake bid — and what happens?+

Bidding without intending to buy, bidding to inflate the price, or ghosting after winning. Suspicious bids get cancelled without debate, and repeat offenders lose bidding privileges. Full transparency, no shady bullshit — that goes both ways.
