What it is
The High Stakes Room is where our most exclusive plants are auctioned — only specimens valued at €500 and up are featured there. The rarest variegation, one-of-one mother plants, first-in-EU material. Everyone can watch every auction in the room, follow the bids and the clock. Placing a bid, however, requires access.
Why bidding is members-only
At this price level, every bid has to be a real commitment. An open room invites fake bids, bidding wars that evaporate at checkout, and winners who ghost — and that ruins the auction for the collectors who came to actually buy. The access step is our filter: everyone bidding in this room has either a purchase history with us or has paid for their seat. No tourists, no fake bids, no games. Bids in the room are binding — you bid, you buy.

🌿 Automatic — for loyal customers
Collectors with a solid purchase history at plant.ess get access automatically, permanently, for free. Sign in with your usual email — you may already be in.
🎟 The 2-week pass — €10
Full bidding access for 14 days, activated automatically within a minute of payment. Win an auction inside the High Stakes Room during your pass and the €10 is deducted from that invoice — win in the room and the pass costs you nothing. Note: the deduction applies to High Stakes wins only, not wins in the regular auctions.

The same honest rules
Everything else works exactly like the rest of The Rare: real photos of the exact specimen, honest condition notes, payment within 48 hours of winning, and shipping from Sweden — once a week, one box, shipping paid only on your first win of the week.
